MOSCOW, Apr 30 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian oil company Surgutneftegas plummeted by 87.5% on the year to 106.2 billion rubles in 2019, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Sales revenue increased by 1% to 1.57 trillion rubles, but the pretax profit plunged by about 87% to 132.9 billion rubles.
Surgutneftegas’ funds on bank deposits decreased by 1% in 2019 to 2.966 trillion rubles as of the end of the year. Short-term deposits amounted to 820.532 billion rubles, while long-term deposits stood at 2.145 trillion rubles.
